Play fair, keep it friendly

Before you read

By playing on BacoNetworks or joining our Discord you agree to abide by these rules and to any staff member's interpretation of them. This list may change at any time without warning and is not exhaustive — something not being listed does not mean it is allowed, and everything falls under staff discretion. Purchased perks or ranks do not exempt you from any outcome, and our tolerance for trolling or disrespect is extremely low. Common sense still applies: advertising other servers, advertising our network elsewhere, threatening the integrity of the network, or charging back a purchase are all bannable. Breaking the Discord rules can affect you in-game, too.

No advertising
Do not promote other servers, communities, or anything unrelated to this network.

No spam
Do not flood channels with repeated messages, characters, or emojis.

No NSFW content
Do not post links or images containing pornography or adult material.

Keep it PG-13
Your name, profile, messages, and voice activity must stay PG-13.

No harassment or bullying
Harassment and bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.

English only
Keep chat in English so staff can moderate effectively.

Follow Discord's ToS
Breaking Discord's Terms of Service may result in a kick or ban.

Minecraft bans carry over
If you are banned on our Minecraft servers, you may be banned here too.

Drop it when asked
Failing to drop a topic when asked by staff, or stirring up drama, may lead to a mute or ban.

General Rules

No raiding, griefing or PvPing
  • Stealing or destroying blocks, items, machines, or entities from a claim without the owner's permission will not be tolerated.
  • Claims must not be raided or griefed — even attempting to do so is not acceptable.
  • Follow the general rule: if it's not yours, don't touch it.
  • Do not bypass PvP by any means (items, traps, liquids, and so on).

Keep your language appropriate and respect others
  • Any racism, antisemitism, homophobia, or similar will not be tolerated (permanent, non-appealable ban).
  • Cursing is allowed in moderation — if something frustrating happens it is understandable, but never direct it at others.
  • Respect everyone and do not harass people.
  • Keep all religious and political discussion in private.
  • Do not discuss any kind of illegal activity, even if it only borders it.
  • Do not spread or start unnecessary drama.

Do not spam
  • Spamming chat or other players can result in a mute.
  • Do not ask the same question repeatedly if you do not get an answer — use Google, YouTube, or ask us on Discord.
  • All rules fall under staff discretion.

English only in main chat
  • Using any language other than English in public chat can result in a mute.
  • Keep non-English discussions to private chats such as /msg or cave, island, and team chat.

Do not exploit bugs or use hacked clients
  • Duplication glitches, or any glitch that gives you an unfair advantage over other players, will not be tolerated.
  • Any mod that gives you an unfair advantage, such as X-ray, is not allowed (ask on Discord if you are not sure; auto-gg, auto-welcome, and similar are also disallowed).
  • If you receive items that are not normally obtainable (creative, etc.) and do not inform staff, it may result in a permanent ban.
  • Reporting duplication bugs or item-spawn exploits instead of using them is encouraged and may be rewarded — please open a ticket on our Discord.
  • Knowing someone is breaking this rule and not reporting it is treated the same as exploiting or hacking yourself.
  • Bypassing AFK detection using macros or auto-rejoin is also considered exploiting.

No bypassing the AFK timer
  • Intentionally bypassing the 15-minute auto-kick may result in your playtime being wiped or a ban.

Any base considered to cause lag may be modified or removed
  • We will always prioritise the experience of all players over that of a single player. If your base appears on our internal profiling tools and is degrading performance for others, we may edit or remove the cause.
  • We are not required to provide any explanation or profiling results to enforce this rule.

Do not disrupt the economy
  • Check the additional rules for items that may not be traded or sold.
  • No giving away free BacoBits, items, machine access, and so on — food is fine.
  • You may not sell items or in-game currency for real money, gift cards, or anything with real-world monetary backing.
  • Transferring money or any benefit between alt accounts will not be tolerated.
  • Loaning or giving away in-game currency, items, or entities will not be tolerated.
  • Falsely selling an item or service to trick a player into buying something they did not intend to will not be tolerated.
  • Gambling, other than a server-provided lottery, will not be tolerated.
  • Advertising anything you or anyone else is selling is not allowed.
  • Do not attempt to bypass market item-listing restrictions.
  • Be reasonable when pricing or trading items; note that daily voting income is only a small amount of BacoBits. If you are unreasonable, staff may intervene.
  • Do not attempt to bypass the additional rules by selling the materials used to craft a restricted item more cheaply.

Punishments range from warnings to permanent bans. Appeals can be made on our Discord.
